PROJECT STORY

Balcony sliding-door resealing

The finish starts with the preparation.

The brief

Old sealant around the sliding-door frame needed removal and renewal. The focus was careful joint preparation, even application and tidy edges.

The work

  1. Remove the old sealant thoroughly.
  2. Prepare the frame perimeter joints.
  3. Apply new sealant evenly and finish the edges.

The result shown

The close-ups show the frame and perimeter joint details. This is a surface joint-sealing job, not evidence of a whole-balcony waterproofing upgrade.
