Check permission before altering an entry door
A draught strip, closer and latch can affect how an entry door operates. Identify the exact symptom and whether the door belongs to the lot or common property.
Photos and measurements to send
Photograph the closed gap, hardware labels and the full doorway. Supply any building instructions.
What changes the scope and quote
Fire-rated doors require the applicable approved process. A handyman enquiry does not imply authority to modify a fire-safety assembly; suitable scope is confirmed first.
